Humanity faces great challenges today, climate change is already affecting our daily lives, and it's just a matter of turning on the news to see that everything is upside down.
But never before in history has there been an opportunity for a nobody like me to ask the world for help to make his ideas a reality, and my dream is that you could help me make a real change to fight the droughts that are hitting us today.
About me: I am an electrical engineer from Chile (South America), with previous experience in research, local electricity market consultant, development of small-scale power plants, and electrical installations like residential photovoltaic and offshore salmon farming platforms.
Mission:
To create a floating photovoltaic installation that is cheaper than building a land-based installation.
Vision:
As much as we march for a solution to climate change and political pressure is created, as long as there is no change in the market balance, no matter how much progress scientists and engineers make, they will remain stuck in a laboratory. This is why today are the Start-Ups who generate the great changes in society, it is a matter of looking at our smartphones to realize it.
This is why I have dedicated the last years of my life and all my resources in creating a product that generates a real change, that can be scalable in such a way that the market itself is responsible for spreading around the world.
But the ugly truth is that business requires money, in amounts that are really difficult to raise for an ordinary individual, but I think today if an idea is worthwhile, among many we are able to carry them out, just as you invite a beer to someone whose speech manages to entertain you, nowadays among many we can support each other to generate the changes we want to see in our society.
